STORY
STORY
Koftgari is a technique built on patience rather than shortcuts. Master artisans in Rajasthan cross-hatch the silver first, then press fine brass wire into the grooves by hand until it holds, no soldering, just brass worked into metal until the two become one surface. This cuff carries that same discipline, the silver darkened just enough to let the brass catch the light rather than compete with it. It takes a steady hand and a slow week to make one properly, which is most of why there aren't many of these left to find
STYLING
STYLING
Wear it alone and let the koftgari do the talking, or stack it with a plain silver bangle to give the brass something quiet to sit against. It looks as good with a linen shirt as it does with silk or even a white tee
CARE
CARE
Wipe with a soft, dry cloth only. Keep it away from water and perfume, both will dull the brass inlay over time. The silver is malleable by design, so it can be gently reshaped to fit, but avoid repeatedly bending it hard in the same spot. store it flat rather than folded.
