STORY
STORY
This piece dates back to the early last century. how it made its way from India to Australia, we don't know. We're just glad it's here. in Vedic astrology, red coral (known as Moonga) represents the planet Mars (Mangal), the fiery celestial body of energy, courage, action, and ambition.
STYLING
STYLING
Worn with a white shirt, collar undone. or over a plain tank top - let the coral do the work.
CARE
CARE
Polish the silver only, very gently with a soft cloth - never the coral. leave tarnish in the deep recesses, it's what holds the detail and the history. keep it dry - off for showers, swims, dishes. perfume and products go on before the necklace, not after. store wrapped, away from light, with an anti-tarnish strip nearby.
